2024-2025 Out-of-School (OST) Camps
8:30am - 3:30pm (or 5:00pm)
No school? Join us for a fun-filled STEM Day Camp, where students in grades K-8 will engage in exciting activities like robotics, coding, science experiments, and 3D printing. Our camp runs from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with an extended day option until 5:00 PM. Campers should bring a nut-free lunch, two snacks, and a leak-proof water bottle. Dive into hands-on learning and creativity with us!
Day Camp Schedule
8:30 - 9:00 AM | Camper Sign-In and Morning Stations Campers arrive and get settled into their camp space. During this time, campers can choose from various activities such as artmaking, or playing with blocks, Legos, and other toys.
9:00 - 9:15 AM | Morning Meeting Gather to hear the day's schedule, play some ice-breaker games, and set the tone for the day.
9:15 - 11:30 AM | Morning Activities
11:30 AM - 12:30 PM | Lunch and Free Time Campers, staff, and volunteers focus on eating and staying hydrated for at least 20 minutes, followed by free time to play and socialize.
12:30 - 1:00 PM | Reset and Refocus Campers put away their things, tidy up their workspaces. If done quickly, campers reflect on the day's activities with quiet activities like reading, drawing, or tinkering with LEGOS or their morning work.
1:00 - 2:30 PM | Choice Time Campers choose from three different prepared activities. Examples include but not limited to:
2:30 - 2:45 PM | Afternoon Snack Campers enjoy their second nut-free snack brought from home.
2:45 - 3:15 PM | Clean-up and Circle Games Campers tidy up their spaces, gather their belongings, and participate in circle games or brain teasers (examples: Blooket or Kahoot).
3:15 - 3:30 PM | Camper Sign-Out Campers are picked up and signed out by an authorized person. Staff will ensure that those picking up show a photo ID as per the Emergency & Release Form.
3:30 - 5:00 PM | Extended Day Option For those enrolled in the extended day, campers engage in additional activities such as quiet reading, board games, LEGO block building, or more hands-on projects under supervision.
